To protect against potential complaints after pressing, it is necessary to obtain customer consent in advance, especially for first-time customers or garments made of delicate, tricky materials. Once you explain the risks and secure their agreement beforehand, the chances of a dispute will drop significantly.

    How to Use CondiForm:

    • Open condiform.com at the counter while receiving garments.
    • Select the relevant item, enter the invoice number (required), and add the dry cleaner name and city (optional).
    • Show it to the customer, have them agree, and tap Submit.
    • We will receive an email notification. If any issue arises later, we will locate and forward that email to you.
    • The customer’s invoice print timestamp will be recorded, providing solid evidence.

    Once the customer agrees, your job becomes much easier.

    요즘 나오는 메리노 울(Merino Wool) 제품 상당수는 세탁기 사용이 가능한 ‘워셔블(Washable)’로 출시되고 있습니다.

    이를 기술적으로 ‘수퍼 워셔블 울(Super Washable Wool)’이라고 부릅니다.

    물세탁이 가능해진 원리 본래 울(동물성 단백질 섬유) 표면에는 사람 머리카락의 비늘처럼 스케일(Scale)이라는 특유의 껍질층이 존재합니다. 이 스케일 때문에 울을 물에 넣고 마찰을 주면 비늘끼리 서로 엉켜 옷이 굳고 심하게 줄어듭니다.

    수퍼 워셔블 울은 화학적 방축 가공(Anti-felting Treatment)을 거칩니다.

    • 울 표면의 비늘(스케일)을 화학적으로 얇게 깎아내거나 완전히 제거합니다.
    • 제거된 표면에 특수 수지(폴리머) 코팅을 얇게 씌워 수축과 엉킴을 방지합니다.

    주의할 점 및 관리법 방축 가공이 되어 있더라도 천연 단백질 섬유 특성은 그대로 유지되므로 관리에 주의가 필요합니다.

    • 세제 선택: 알칼리성 세제(일반 가루/액체 세제)나 과탄산소다 같은 강알칼리漂白제는 단백질을 손상시키므로 반드시 중성 세제(울샴푸 등)를 사용해야 합니다.
    • 세탁 코스: 세탁기 이용 시 울 코스/섬세 코스로 설정하고, 미지근하거나 찬물로 세탁합니다.

    For spandex or PU, forced drying (using a dryer) creates these long, thread-like lints that can’t be removed with tape and must be shaved off. Therefore, it’s best to air dry them in the first place. CondiWash recommended. > CondiWash.com

    웨트클린의 한계 극복에 대한 대안: 

    지금 드라이클리닝 장비를 갖고 계신 분들 역시 이미 60~70% 이상은 물세탁해 오면서 물세탁에 대해 익숙하더라도,

    갑자기 100% 물로만 하는 시간이 오면, 물세탁 해 보지 않은 옷들은 주변 드라이 클린 세탁소로 내 보내어 처리 합니다.

    100% 웨트클리닝을 해야 하는 경우의 장비/기술 한계와 극복에 대한 대안을 생각해 봅니다.

    < 주름 >

    한계: 상업용 워셔의 탈수 속도는 400~500 RPM 수준입니다. 이를 350 RPM 정도로 낮춰 탈수하더라도, 100% 면 청바지나 울, 캐시미어 재킷 등은 일반 워셔와 마찬가지로 주름이 심하게 생깁니다.

    텀블링하면 좀 펴지겠지만, 큰 주름은 안 펴지고 문제가 되기도 합니다. 대신 RPM을 더 낮추면 주름은 적어지지만, 건조시간은 아주 길어 집니다.

    앞에서 살랑살랑 순하게 잘 빨고서는, 일반 워셔처럼 똑같이 강탈수하고 바로 강제 건조해야 하는 방식의 웨트클리닝 장비는 이 부분이 한계(모순)일 수 있습니다. 소재따라 차이가 크기 때문에

    대안: 소재 별로 옷을 따로 선별해서 낮은 RPM 사이클로 탈수하거나, 통돌이 세탁기에서 따로 10초 이내로 최단 탈수하면 주름들이 잘 안 생깁니다. 

    <강제 건조와 수축 문제 >

    옷 줄어드는 이유 중에 젖은 옷을 강제 건조할 때 – 즉 기계적 마찰이 클 때 제일 위험 합니다.

    대안: 지역 날씨따라 밤새 자연 건조가 더 좋은 곳도 많고, 바닥 팬 하나만 1단으로 틀고 가도 충분 합니다. 에너지세이빙은 물론 옷도 안전 합니다. 굳이 1-2 시간내 끝내려고 하는 것 보다는 안전을 우선해야 합니다. 

    비싸고 고급 옷들은 강제 건조보다 자연 건조가 훨씬 더 안전 합니다.

    장비 업체가 특정하는 콘디셔너는 왜 자기네 콘디셔너만이 특정되는 지를 사전에 파악하고 웨트클리닝 세탁기 구입 기준을 판단해야 합니다.

    • 특정 콘디셔너의 경우 콘디셔너의 활성화를 위해 옷이 젖어 있을 때 열마찰 – 강제 건조가 필수입니다. 그러나, 강제 건조가 위험한 옷들은 많이 비쌉니다.
    • 자연 건조해도 된다고 해서, 자연 건조하면 옷들이 칙칙해 (Dinggy)해 집니다.
    • 그 동안 대수롭지 않던 물세탁 세제 비용을, 특정 세제/콘디셔너로 바꾸게 되면, 한 달 매출이 지금보다 $1,000.00 정도는 증가 되어야 합니다. 품질에 대한 적극적인 마케팅도 필요 합니다.

    대안: 섬유유연제나 콘디셔너를 사용하지 말라는 옷들이 많이 판매되고 있어서, 처음 부터 일반 올인원 세제로 한번에 끝내는 방식이 최적의 대안이라고 생각 합니다. (실크세제 – Cm)

    뒤에서 작업하는 직원들 – 특히 남미 직원들은 기술 개선에 별 관심도 없고, 선별 능력도 크게 떨어지니 시스템적으로 관리되어야 합니다.
